Based in Cape Town and Gauteng we specialize in Private Investigation services and undercover Observation providing services in the whole of South Africa in collaboration with experienced Investigators who are equipped with advanced techniques and tools to accommodate clients’ specific requirements. We assist anyone from individuals to state entities seeking the service of a specialized registered private investigator in good standing with the regulatory authority.
John Alexander had been the lead investigator in numerous investigations partnering with various law enforcement agencies including SCCU (Specialized Commercial Crimes Unit), South African Police Services, Interpol, Asset Forfeiture Unit, etc. We are also the preferred agency investigating complex embezzlement and money laundering cases. Our Gauteng Detective, Lieutenant Colonel C Van Zyl retired from the Police after 26 years of service and was deemed a decorated serviceman who decided to join Royal Investigations and serve the public in the private sector.
We not only conduct ourselves with the highest level of professionalism, but we also possess state-of-the-art technology and resources to assist any investigation, our success in mainstream media speaks for itself, we traveled the country to investigate and conduct undercover operations in hostile areas which 90% were successful and led to arrests and/or prosecutions.
John Alexander was interviewed twice on Carte Blanche for his excellent work relating to embezzlement and theft cases he investigated and exposed, We were interviewed by ENCA relating to ‘’Romance scammers’’ who were arrested in Cape Town by the FBI (Federal Bureau Of Investigations), we made the front pages on numerous occasions for suspects we arrested amounting to Millions of rands swindled from victims. We are responsible for the high-profile cases in extortion where we arrested a Nigerian National for embezzlement and money laundering, our evidence and testimony were regarded as expert witnesses when asked to testify for the State.
Between 2021 and 2022 Royal Investigations collectively recovered stolen property amounting to 12.8 million in the form of shipping containers. We dismantled the syndicate and arrested 5 suspects, subsequently charged and prosecuted.
Royal Investigations have a host of Investigators who served in SAPS for 189 years combined, from Sergeant to Colonel rank with a host of duties including, K9, Cluster commander, acting detective commander, investigating officer, certified embezzlement investigator, Tactical police level 2, internal affairs, etc, etc
We as Royal Investigations work with law enforcement agencies daily, we present evidence and consult with prosecutors relating to matters, discuss strategies and execute instructions to further investigations. We are called upon in trial proceedings to testify and lead evidence in support of our case and to provide the necessary justice to victims and clients.

Our investigators are well versed in the Criminal Procedures Act of South Africa and could work with the SAPS or independently in gathering admissible evidence, compiling a docket and leading evidence in court.
